8/25/18 Driving south on U.S. 25 from Bandelier National Monument to Silver City, New Mexico

I stopped at this rest area along U.S. Route 25. I looked for rattlesnakes, but didn't find any.

I watched these clouds form to my west. The sky seems vast here!

This storm was in the west complete with thunder and lightning, but it only drizzled on the road!
