| This afternoon, the Campground Host visited my campsite to find out more about my Scamp Trailer. After giving her a tour of my six foot by nine foot 'home,' she told me about this place about 30 miles west of Bandelier National Monument. As the sign says, it's a volcanic caldera and it is huge! |

| The sky looked ominous, but no rain fell where I was. |

| I stayed to watch the sunset, but I was also treated to sightings of a herd of elk, several mule deer and a black bear! |
